City Member of Parliament Mr Pawan Kumar Bansal today said there was no other donation as big as blood donation. While speaking at a blood donation camp held at Sector 45 here, Mr Bansal said such camps are a noble cause and also encourage youngsters towards the importance of blood donation.
A total of 100 units of blood was donated at the camp. The camp was held under the supervision of a team of doctors from Gian Sagar Medical College and Hospital, The camp had been organized by Sarv Mangal Society in the sector 45 market and among those prominent present there were councilor and former mayor Pardeep Chhabra, society chairman Jagdeep Rana, vice president GS Negi, General Secretary Ram Gopal among others.
The society had also kept a religious discourse on the occasion. Mr Bansal said he is associated with such camps since many years now. He added one should ensure blood donation once in three months.
