Mr. Pawan Kumar Bansal, Member Parliament today released the logo of 4th Delegates Conference of Coordination Committee of Govt. & MC Employees & Workers U.T., Chandigarh at his residence. On this occasion Mr.Bansal informed that the Chandigarh Administration has approved the policy regarding the regularization of Daily wage employees. It has been a long pending demand of the employees.
4th Delegate Conference of Coordination Committee of Govt. & MC Employees & Workers U.T., Chandigarh is going to be held on February 22 in which Convenor and working committee will elected and next course of action on the demands of U.T. employees will also be decided.
Pawan Kumar Bansal while addressing the members of Coordination Committee informed that the policy of regularization of daily wagers was approved by the Administrator. About 1700 daily wagers would be covered under this policy.
All the members of the Coordination Committee led by its Convener Mr. Rakesh Kumar thanked Mr. Pawan Kumar Bansal for his sincere efforts to regularize the daily wage employees.
It is pertinent to mentioned here that the Chandigarh Administration had constituted a three members committee, headed by D K Tiwari, then Secretary Forest to frame a policy regarding the regularization of Daily wage employees. Prerna Puri, Additional Home Secretary and S.K Chadha, Chief Engineer U.T. were members of the committee.After detailed discussions with the representatives of the Coordination Committee of Govt. & MC Employees & Workers U.T., Chandigarh, and committee submitted its recommendations to the Chandigarh Administration on April 5, 2013.
