Local MP, Mr. Pawan Kumar Bansal today said the Congress has been working for the betterment of the poor and will continue to do so. He said the slum rehabilitation scheme had ensured that all the eligible beneficiaries would not be left homeless.
Mr. Bansal was speaking at a public meeting in Sector 52 here this morning. Among others present included city mayor H.C Kalyan.
The residents of the rehabilitation colony told about their grievances to Mr. Bansal. The MP said the problem of ration depots has been resolved adding that number of depots has been increased from 60 to 100. He also assured that the pending demand of a dispensary in the area would be soon redressed.
