Local Member of Parliament, Mr. Pawan Kumar Bansal today while stressing on need for skill development, said if you have talent even challenge can become an opportunity.He was speaking at Prajapati Bhawan in sector 38 here at a joint function of the municipal corporation and Jan Shikshan Sansthan, the National Literacy Mission Authority here.
Mr. Bansal also distributed training kits to the passouts of different courses and assured a grant of Rs 8 lakh out of the MPLAD fund for their development.
He said it was heartening to see the training programmes being offered under the aegis of JSS. “Getting jobs is not very easy these days, hence skill development is need of the hour. The number of applicants for any kind of jobs is more than the vacancies and we must respect whatever work is done with hands. We must ensure dignity of labour”, he added.
The MP stressed on creating groups along with the training sessions of those undergoing skill development courses so that their phone numbers can be shared with people who wish to avail their services. He also suggested need for capacity building exercise which should help form linkages for giving work to such skilled passouts.
