CHB Modern Complex Flats Residents Welfare Association (Regd) MHC Manimajra held its Annual General Body meeting at Gurukul Global school premises today. Mr. Pawan Kumar Bansal, MP was the Chief Guest while the City Mayor H C Kalyan was the Guest of Honour.
While speaking on the occasion the Chief Guest, Mr. Bansal while complimenting the Association for its welfare activities for the benefit of the residents of the complex, said that problems faced by the residents with Chandigarh Housing Board are being solved with his continuous efforts of taking up issues with the concerned authorities.
Issues like delay in granting ownership rights to pre 2010 GPA holders, regularization of need based changes in their flats, by Chandigarh Housing Board, and granting sector status by UT Administration, in addition to apathy on civic problem by Municipal Corporation and security aspect by local police, were raised.
In the cultural programme that followed the AGM the members were entertained by a street play ‘ Shaheed Ki Wapsi’ directed by a renowned director Rajeev Mehta.
Justice H S Bhalla, member Haryana Human Rights Commission and Mr. Babu Lal, a nominated councillor, both Patrons of the this organisation were also present. About
100 members attended the meeting.
