MP Pawan Kumar Bansal greets on Guru Ravi Dass Jayanti Appeals to maintain brotherhood and remove differences.

Chandigarh, February, 2014

On the occasion of Shri Guru Ravidass Parkash Utsav, Chandigarh MP, Mr. Pawan Kumar Bansal appealed to the city residents to maintain brotherhood and communal harmony. He said there was also a need to treat everyone equal.

He was speaking at a function to mark the occasion at Punjab Engineering College (PEC) community centre here in sector 12. The function was organized by the association of PEC employees where Mr. Bansal was the chief guest.

Among other prominent present there included former mayor Anu Chatrath, President of the PEC Employees Association Hari Mohan, senior vice president Jaswinder Singh, and vice president Harpreet Singh among others.

Mr. Bansal said we should work together setting aside all barriers of caste or religion. He was honoured with a saropa by the association members. The celebrations will conclude on February 17 with a Langar and Akhand Path.
